Publius Cornelius Lentulus Caudinus (Consul)

Publius Cornelius Lentulus Caudinus was a Roman senator , politician, and military officer.

Publius Cornelius Lentulus Caudinus belonged to the Lentuli branch of the Cornelier family . He was the son of Lucius Cornelius Lentulus Caudinus and brother of Lucius Cornelius Lentulus Caudinus . 236 BC He reached the consulate at the side of Gaius Licinius Varus . His brother was a censor that same year . Publius fought successfully as consul against the Ligurians and was honored with a triumph for his successes . His son of the same name was also a Roman senator.
