Publius Furius Medullinus Fusus

Publius Furius Medullinus Fusus was, according to legendary ancient tradition, a Roman consul in 472 BC. Together with Lucius Pinarius Mamercinus Rufus .

Publius Furius is mentioned in the tradition of Livius without a cognom , likewise he has no cognom in Dionysius of Halicarnassus . In the Fasti Capitolini is handed down as cognomen (... [Medullinus F] usus) .

In 467 BC He is said to have played a leading role in founding the colony of Antium . During the war against the Aquer , he is said to have served as an officer under his brother Spurius Furius Medullinus Fusus , the consul of the year 464, and to have been killed during a battle against the Aquer.
