Dinamo Oraşul Stalin was a Romanian football club from Braşov (then Oraşul Stalin ). He played from 1950 to 1956 in the highest Romanian football league, the Divizia A .

history

When the two teams of Unirea Tricolor Bucharest and Ciocanul Bucharest were merged to Dinamo Bucharest in 1948, the Unirea Tricolor team initially played in Divizia B as "Dinamo B". After the team had occupied first place in Divizia B in the 1948/49 season, but could not rise, it was relocated to Brașov in 1950 and from then on appeared as Dinamo Brașov , after the city of Brașov was renamed Orașul Stalin on 8. September 1950 as Dinamo Oraşul Stalin .

Dinamo managed to move up to Divizia A in 1950. In the following year, the team reached the cup semi-finals and in the 1953 season came fourth. After the merger with local rivals Steagul Roşu Oraşul Stalin in 1957, the second team was relocated to Cluj , where they took on as Dinamo Cluj . A year later followed another move to Bacau , where she has since played as Dinamo Bacau (now FCM Bacau ).
