Publius Marius

Publius Marius (his cognomen is not known) was a Roman politician living in the 1st century AD .

Inscriptions and the Annales of Tacitus prove that Marius 62, together with Lucius Afinius Gallus, was an ordinary consul ; the two held this office at least until March 2nd of that year. In De aquaeductu urbis Romae by Sextus Iulius Frontinus he is listed as curator aquarum for the years 64 to 66.
