The Puente de Piedra is a bridge in Soria , the capital of the province of Soria in the autonomous region of Castile and León , that crosses the Duero . The bridge from the 12th century is a protected architectural monument ( Bien de Interés Cultural ).

History and description

From the Calle de San Agustín you get out of town to the Puente de Piedra. It is the only eastern access to the city of Soria. The sandstone bridge with eight arches is first handed down to 1157.

In 2010 the modern bridge lighting with LED technology was completed.
