Under the eyes of the judiciary one is American film drama from the year 1982 . The film is based on a true story.

action

After an argument with his father Frank, Danny Caldwell drives a car under the influence of alcohol and hits a police cruiser. He is arrested and reported to stay in a prison cell for one night. His father refuses to get him out of prison. He sees it as a just form of punishment. But because of an assault, one night turns into a prison stay of over six weeks in the company of serious criminals. Meanwhile, his father gets a job in Ohio , so the family moves there.

Danny is later released, with the assault charges dropped and his drunk driving punishment offset against his already served prison sentence. His parents realize it was a mistake to leave their son alone in prison. But Danny has already changed psychologically.
