Frank von Zerneck

Frank von Zerneck (born November 3, 1940 in New York City ) is an American film producer .

biography

Frank von Zerneck was born as the son of the actor Peter von Zerneck (1908–1992) and the agent Francis von Zerneck. He attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and received his bachelor's degree in drama from Hofstra University in 1965 . He then began working at the theater in Los Angeles before shooting the documentary The 21 Hours of Munich together with Robert Greenwald in 1975 . Since 1987 he has been running his own production company Zerneck / Sertner Films together with Robert M. Sertner .

He has been married to Julie Hawthorne Mannix since May 15, 1965. He is the father of Danielle von Zerneck and Frank von Zerneck Jr.
