The Puerto Nuevo, Buenos Aires is the new seaport on the eastern outskirts of Buenos Aires , district of Puerto Madero , Argentina. It is located on the Río de la Plata (which flows into the Atlantic Ocean ). The operator and administrator is the public company Administración General de Puertos SE. The predecessor was Puerto Madero.
Economical meaning
General cargo, bulk cargo and containers are handled in the port. It is also a passenger port, especially for cruise ships.
