history
Bayamón FC was founded in 1999 and played in the Puerto Rico Major League Soccer until 2005. In 1999 the Vaqueros were able to win their first title for themselves.
After a three-year break from an official game, the team moved to the newly founded Puerto Rico Soccer League in 2009 . Here, too, they played very successfully and won the play-off final in 2009.
However, the team left the league for the 2010 season. The RPSL was discontinued at the end of the 2011 season. Puerto Rico Bayamón played from 2011 in the Liga Nacional de Fútbol de Puerto Rico, the highest league in the country. There, too, the team became champions in 2011 and 2012. After the 2013 season, however, it was over again. The team moves to the National Premier Soccer League in 2015.
Bayamón was also represented internationally again and again. In 2010, the team took part in the CFU Club Championship , the soccer Caribbean championship, for the first time . There the team only reached fourth place and was therefore unable to qualify for the CONCACAF Champions League 2010/11 . In 2012 and 2013 they qualified again for the CFU Club Championship, but the Puerto Ricans did not survive the first round in either year. In 2014 the team reached the semi-finals. After problems between CONCACAF and the Haitian Football Association, Fédération Haïtienne de Football, both semi-finals and the final were canceled. Valencia FC from Haiti was withdrawn and Bayamón FC qualified for the CONCACAF Champions League 2014/15 .
