CONCACAF Champions League 2010/11
The CONCACAF Champions League in the 2010/2011 season is the third edition of the competition.
The tournament began at the end of July 2010 with the qualification and ended with the second leg of the final at the end of April 2011. In the final, the Mexican club CF Monterrey beat Real Salt Lake from the USA. The Mexican Javier Orozco was named the top scorer of the tournament. He scored 11 goals for CD Cruz Azul .
The winner will qualify for the 2011 FIFA Club World Cup .
Field of participants
24 teams took part in the CONCACAF Champions League 2010/11. The teams came from North America, the Caribbean and Central America.

1 CD Motagua and San Francisco FC were able to move up because Belize ( Belize Defense Force FC ) and Nicaragua ( Real Estelí ) did not receive any approval from CONCACAF. The stadiums of the countries did not meet the requirements.
Preliminary Round (Qualifying Round)
The pairings for the qualifying round were drawn on May 19, 2010 . The first legs took place between July 27th and 29th, the second leg between August 3rd and 5th.
Group Stage (main round)
The Group Stage games took place from August to October 2010. The first round started on August 17, 2010.
