CONCACAF Champions' Cup 1963
The 1963 CONCACAF Champions' Cup was the second official football competition for club teams in the CONCACAF region. The competition could not be played to the end because the final between last year's winner Deportivo Guadalajara and RC Haïtien did not take place. Ultimately, the RC Haïtien was declared the winner. In the next three years (1964 to 1966) the CONCACAF Champions' Cup did not take place at all and the tournament has been held annually since 1967.

Semifinals
By qualifying only three clubs for the semifinals, the RC Haïtien got into the final by bye. The defending champions Deportivo Guadalajara also prevailed against Deportivo Saprissa with three goals from Salvador Reyes . Both games were played in the Costa Rican capital, San José , home of Saprissa.

final
The finals were originally scheduled for September 8th and 10th, 1963 and both should have taken place in Guadalajara . Because the RC Haïtien did not receive his entry permit in time, the meeting had to be postponed. After the RC Haïtien failed to meet the next two appointments, Deportivo Guadalajara filed an official complaint with CONCACAF in February 1964 , which then declared the Mexicans the winner. The Haitians protested against this decision, whereupon CONCACAF withdrew their previous decision on April 2, 1964 and ordered both clubs to make up for the final encounters within two months. Because the CD Guadalajara undertook a multi-week trip to Europe during this period , the Mexicans finally did without the final and the RC Haïtien was declared the winner. Thus, the defending champion, who had not conceded a single goal in the previous or in the current tournament, lost his title.
