Walter Orlando Ayoví Corozo (born August 11, 1979 in Camarones , Esmeraldas Province ) is an Ecuadorian football player who mainly acts in the (defensive) midfield .

Life

Ayoví began his professional career in 1999 at Rocafuerte FC . In 2000 he moved to CS Emelec , with whom he won the Ecuadorian football championship in the 2001 and 2002 seasons . He then moved to city ​​rivals Barcelona SC and from there to CD El Nacional , with which he won another championship title in 2006. In 2009 he signed with the Mexican CF Monterrey , with whom he won the Mexican soccer championship twice and the CONCACAF Champions League three times in a row .
