CL Financial San Juan Jabloteh is a Trinidadian football club from San Juan .
history
The club was founded in 1974. Its name refers to the native name of the nocturnal bird Fettschwalm .
After founding a semi-professional league in 1994, San Juan Jabloteh transformed himself from a youth organization to a professional football club. The support of CL Financial Limited in 1996 enabled the association to significantly expand its activities. From 1996 to 1998 the team was fourth in the league three times in a row. In 1999 San Juan Jabloteh was one of the founding members of the Trinidadian Professional Football League, and since then the club has been one of the most successful clubs. The team won the championship in 2002 and 2003 and represented the league in the CONCACAF Champions Cup . The club finished the league in 2004 as 3rd and the following year as runner-up. In 2007 and 2008 the club won the championship again. In 2012 the club withdrew from the TT Pro League for financial reasons. In the following season, the club reported back but already. In 2017 the club qualified for the CONCACAF League , but was eliminated in the round of 16 against Santos de Guápiles from Costa Rica.
