Duilio César Jean Pierre Davino Rodríguez (born March 21, 1976 in León , Guanajuato ) is a Mexican football player on the position of defender . He is a son of Jorge Davino and brother of Flavio Davino .

Life

Davino began his professional career at the university club Tecos de la UAG , for which he played a total of 67 league games in the Mexican Primera División between 1993 and 1997 and won the only championship title in the history of Tecos in his first season in 1993/94.

In 1997 he moved to Club America , where he was under contract for ten years and with which he won two other championship titles (in Torneo Verano 2002 and Torneo Clausura 2005 ). He also won the 2005 Supercup with the Americanistas and the 2006 CONCACAF Champions' Cup the following year .

After two short-term positions at MLS club FC Dallas and Puebla FC , Davino has been under contract with CF Monterrey since summer 2009 .

National team

Davino made his debut in the dress of the Mexican national team on January 11, 1996 in a 5-0 win over the selection of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. His last international match was on March 29, 2006 in a 2-1 win against Paraguay.

He scored his two international goals in the World Cup qualifiers against Trinidad and Tobago (7-0) on October 8, 2000 and against the Dominican Republic (10-0) on June 19, 2004.

The highlight of his national team career was participating in the 1998 World Cup , where he played all four Mexican games over the full distance.
