The Puerto Rico Soccer League was the top division in soccer in Puerto Rico from 2008 to 2011 .
history
The league was formed on May 14, 2008, when football was growing in popularity in Puerto Rico. In the same year a season was opened for the first time. In 2011, however, the league was stopped again. The Liga Profesional de Fútbol de Puerto Rico has existed as the successor league since 2013 .
