The Pulau School is the only school in the Pitcairn Islands , a British overseas territory in the Pacific . It is located in Adamstown on the main island of Pitcairn .

It is a state school of primary education, which is led by the education officer ( English Education Officer ) in personal union as headmaster .

The Pulau School teaches according to the New Zealand curriculum with local adjustments. Children are trained from pre-school age to the end of elementary school. The school has a classroom , kitchen, computer lab and library.

In 2014 there were eight children in the school who were taught by a teacher .
