The pullulanase (also pullulan 6-glucanohydrolase ) is a bacterial enzyme , which, inter alia, Klebsiella is synthesized and expressed and the extracellular degradation of plant polysaccharide pullulan allowed. Such enzymes are also called exoenzymes . The monomers are then taken up by the bacteria .
