Punta Escobar is a headland on the east coast of Coronation Island in the archipelago of the Southern Orkney Islands . It is on the banks of Spence Harbor .
Argentine scientists named them. It is named after Fortunato Escobar (1885-1928), who died as a radio operator on the Orcadas station there on October 27, 1928.
