Punta Valles ( Spanish ; in Argentina Punta Valle ) is a headland on the south coast of King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located on the northeast bank of Collins Harbor .
Chilean scientists named it after Antonio Valles Venegas, an army pilot on the Piloto Pardo during the 25th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1970–1971). The background of the Argentine naming is not known.
