The Rieden am Forggensee doll museum is a doll museum in the municipality of Rieden am Forggensee in the Swabian district of Ostallgäu . It has a collection of more than 600 dolls and exhibits.

You can see collector's items, from portrait dolls to old dolls, teddy bears , marionettes , theater dolls , dollhouses , clowns , custom-made dolls and lots of doll accessories and doll clothing. As a special feature, unique pieces are exhibited as concrete garden dolls.

The architecture of the house in which the museum is housed gives the exhibition an additional museum character. The house dates back to 1827 and was included in the municipality 's list of architectural monuments . The furniture with antique sofas, chairs, sideboards, children's chairs or dolls' prams underlines this character.

The contact person for the museum, which is part of the Auerbergland Museum Association, is Benita Diels von Salis (* 1947 in Malans, GR , Switzerland). She has been a doll maker and museum owner since 1992.
