Pure Inc was an alternative rock band from the canton of Basel-Landschaft in Switzerland . Their debut album Pure Inc was released in 2004. With this album and many live appearances in Germany and Switzerland, the band already gained a solid fan base. A New Day's Dawn followed in 2006 . After its publication, Andreas Gentner left the band for personal reasons. A new bass player was found in Ueli «Hoffi» Hofstetter, with whom the 2007 album Parasites and Worms was recorded. The album was released across Europe in August 2008 on the Hamburg label Dockyard1. Album IV was released at the end of 2010 . At the beginning of 2011, guitarist Sandro Pellegrini left the band for personal reasons. The band later broke up, but gave another concert for the 20th anniversary of the band Gurd in December 2014.
