Pyhäselkä [ ˈpyhæsɛlkæ ] is a former municipality in eastern Finland with around 7700 inhabitants. At the beginning of 2009, she was incorporated into the city of Joensuu together with Eno .

Pyhäselkä is located in the North Karelia countryside around 20 km south of Joensuu on the east bank of the lake of the same name, which is part of the Saimaa lake area. The community center of Pyhäselkä is called Hammaslahti, the second larger settlement is Reijola. Both are on State Road 6 from Pernå to Kajaani and the railway line to Joensuu. The municipal area also includes the villages of Mulo, Voudinkylä, Suhmura, and Niittylahti.

In Pyhäselkä there is a mine and a center for the timber industry. Many residents work in Joensuu. The municipality benefits from its proximity to the largest town in North Karelia: the population is increasing from year to year, and unemployment at 11.5% (2002) is significantly lower than in most other municipalities in the structurally weak region.
