The Qaher 313 ( Persian قاهر, German: mighty , violent , also Kaher 313 transcribed ) or F-313 is said to be an Iranian fighter aircraft, of which a non-airworthy model was presented on February 1, 2013.

The F-313 is a single-jet, single-seat delta wing with canards and wing tips that are strongly bent downwards. The aircraft has a plurality of stealth optimized characteristics: Thus, the two air inlets are mounted on top of the fuselage and the tail fins have a slight vertical surfaces to prevent V-position. Whether the aircraft has an internal weapon bay cannot be seen in the images published so far, but it is unlikely due to the small size of the pattern. The exterior of the machine is said to go back to the F-5E Tiger II , on which the Qaher 313 is based, according to Iranian media.

Three-sided view based on the mock-up

In the Iranian state media, the performance of the machine is said to be comparable to that of an American F-18 Hornet . Since exactly the same information was given for the machines Azarakhsh , Saeqeh and Shafaq , this information is doubted by Western experts. The single-beam design also contradicts this representation. Also due to the small size of the machine, this information appears doubtful, as it means that no comparable avionics can be installed or similar ranges can be achieved (due to the low internal fuel capacity).

The published images suggest that the aircraft shown in the Iranian state media is a mock-up . Photo and footage from April 2017 show questionable technical characteristics of the aircraft type such as a tire pressure of 50 psi , the magnitude of which is unrealistic for an aircraft of this type according to experts ( F-4 and F-16 : over 260 psi according to the US Department of Defense).
