The Qarschantau ( Kazakh Қаржантау жотасы , Uzbek Qorjontov , Russian Каржанта́у , English Karjantau ) is a mountain range in the extreme southwest of the Tienschan mountain system on the border between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan .

The mountain range extends over a length of 90 km in NNE-SSW direction. The river valleys of Ugom and Chirchiq form the eastern and southern borders. In the south the state border runs along the mountain ridge of the Qarschantau. There is the highest point of the mountain range, the 2823  m high Mingbulak . The middle and northern sections of the Qarshan tau are in Kazakhstan. In the north the mountains in Kulduk reach a height of 2680  m . The source area of ​​the Ugom forms the transition to the northeast Ugom Mountains . The river Keles rises on the western slope of the Qarschantau . The Keles drains the west side of the mountain range.
