King Qiě Dīng ( Chinese 且 丁 ) (*? BC; † 1434 BC) ruled over China for 32 years as the sixteenth or seventeenth king of the Shang dynasty . He was the son of King Qie Xin , who was the nephew of the previous King Qiang Jia . According to the record in the historical work Zhushu Jinian , the capital during his era was in Bì ( Chinese 庇 ). After this work, his reign lasted only 9 years.
