history

Work in the factory began in the fall of 1987 with the assembly of the Isuzu Pika . A more powerful model followed three years later with the Isuzu Panther . The successor generations of the Pika, on the other hand, presented themselves a little sportier and were the brand's best-selling model in the People's Republic of China for almost ten years. The Isuzu Mu became the first SUV in 1993 . As a pure sports model, the factory started offering the Isuzu Tiejingang in small numbers from 1997 , which is the world's only sister model of the Japanese Isuzu VehiCROSS . The model name means something like "Iron King". Only in 2003 did the manufacturer refresh the model range with the Isuzu Jingjizhe , which is an optical hybrid between Isuzu TF and Isuzu Rodeo and replaced the Mu. The Isuzu Duogongnengche, on the other hand, is a visually revised version of the Isuzu MU-7 for the local market . Both models are reserved exclusively for the Chinese market.

In the commercial vehicle sector , on the other hand, the factory produces the Isuzu F-series and the Isuzu Lingqingka , the Chinese version of the Isuzu Elf . The latest model is the Isuzu 700P , which has been available since 2010 .

With a theoretical production capacity of 120,000, Qingling Motors assembled and sold a total of 55,000 and 58,000 vehicles, respectively, in 2014 and 2015.
