Qiu Jianxin (born December 26, 1965 ) is a German table tennis player and trainer who was born in China . He played for several Bundesliga clubs since 1989 .

Career

Qiu Jianxin became the student world champion in 1987. He has been called up for the Chinese national team fifty times. In 1989 he moved to Germany and joined the Bundesliga club Spvg Steinhagen . A year later he moved to Post Mülheim , in 1992 to TTC Frickenhausen in the second division. With its men's team, he rose to the Bundesliga in 1995, and in 2006 and 2007 the team became German champions. In July 1999, Qiu Jianxin took German citizenship.

Since the beginning of the 2000s he worked as a player coach in Frickenhausen. In 2006 he was named Trainer of the Year .

family

Qiu Jianxin is married to Chen Hong , a Chinese national player who was also active in the German Bundesliga. With her he has two sons, Liang Qiu (* 1995) and Dang Qiu (* 1996). Both are Bundesliga players and compete in international tournaments. Today Qiu Jianxin runs a table tennis school in Nürtingen.
