Quaski Itaia

Quaski Itaia (born December 3, 1984 ) is a track and field athlete from Nauru . He is a firefighter by profession.

Career

Itaia prevailed at the Nauruan Championships over 100 meters and thus (along with Rosa-Mystique Jones ) achieved participation in the 2009 World Athletics Championships in Berlin . He retired on August 15, 2009 as the last in the sixth heat. With his lead time of 11.76 s he finished 86th out of 92 participants after all the preliminary runs. His personal best over 100 meters is 11.62 s, recorded on June 22, 2008 in Cairns .
