Pink Mystique Jones

Rosa-Mystique Jones (born November 7, 1990 ) is a Nauruan athlete . She specializes in the short distances (100 and 200 meters) and also trains 400 meters and discus throwing . She does her training in Nauru on the Linkbelt Oval in Aiwo .

Jones' family is a well-known athletics family in Nauru. Her mother Denise Jones used to be a sprinter and discus thrower and took part in the World Athletics Championships in Rome in 1987 , her father Gerard Jones is now a weightlifting trainer in Nauru and used to be successful in the shot put , discus throw , hammer throw and javelin and also holds in all disciplines Javelin throw the country records. Jones' siblings are also track and field athletes.

As the only Nauruan athlete next Deamo Baguga she participated in the Arafura Games 2005 in Darwin in part, and also in the 2005 World Championships in Athletics in Helsinki Jones was the only Nauruerin next Baguga where they in the 100-meter lead on 7. August 2005 in 13.16 seconds failed. She was also the youngest participant in those world championships. She had set up her then best performance over 100 meters of 12.76 s on July 13, 2005 at the Junior World Championships in Marrakech , Morocco . Her best performance over 200 meters of 27.11 s was on December 15, 2005 in Saipan .

At the 2007 World Athletics Championships in Osaka , Jones also took part in the 100-meter competition, but failed as the seventh of their run in 12.69 s. At the 2009 World Athletics Championships in Berlin , she reached 53rd place among 61 participants with a time of 13.42 seconds over 100 meters.
