The Castors de Québec were a Canadian ice hockey team from Québec City , Québec . The team played in the Canadian-American Hockey League from 1932 to 1935 .

history

The franchise was founded in 1926 as a member of the Canadian-American Hockey League . In the 1927/28 season , the team reached the playoff final, but lost there to the Springfield Indians in a four-game series with 14:22 goals. Then the team was relocated and replaced by the Newark Bulldogs . In the CAHL, after the resumption of play in 1932, they only reached the first playoff round in the 1934/35 season , in which they were defeated by the Providence Reds in a best-of-five series with 1: 3 wins. The franchise was then sold and replaced by the Springfield Indians, who had also suspended gaming operations in the meantime.
