description

Queen's Park Church is located on the northern edge of Queen's Park in south Glasgow. The bell tower rises from the east corner of the neo-Gothic building. Its base is solidly designed with buttresses along the edges. A more delicate element with open lancet windows sits on top . The tower closes with an octagonal stone helmet. There is a portal at the foot. The main portal is on the left of the tower. Above it extend two tracery that end below an angel sculpture by John Mossman . The London company MacCulloch & Co carried out the stone carving work on the entire building . The roofs are covered with slate.
