history

The simple, typically Josephine hall church with a single nave, three-bay nave, slightly drawn-in, polygonal choir with a 5/8 end was built between 1784 and 1786. The sacristy with an oratory above is connected to the north side. The tower, crowned by a pointed helmet, was added in 1859/61. The late baroque high altar dates from around 1785 and shows Saint John Nepomuk on the altar sheet. The neo-baroque pulpit was made by Johann Mayr in 1884, the baptismal font and most of the statues of saints were created by Jordan Koller .
