The Quensel Glacier is a small glacier on the eastern foothills of South Georgia . It flows southeast towards Cooper Bay .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1977 after the Swedish geologist Percy Dudgeon Quensel (1881-1966), who had visited South Georgia in 1909 with Carl Johan Fredrik Skottsberg .
