Querfunk is a free radio station from Karlsruhe . As free radio, Querfunk sees itself as a station for participation without commercial interests. Querfunk was founded in 1993 as an initiative and has been broadcasting in the Karlsruhe area on the FM frequency 104.8 MHz since 1995 . As a non-commercial radio broadcaster, it offers various local groups a platform and broadcasts in various languages.
Querfunk is organized in association with the other Baden-Württemberg Free Radios in the Association for Free Social Radio (AFF). At the federal level, it is a member of the Federal Association of Free Radios .
On the audio portal Free Radios , Querfunk exchanges broadcasts with other Free Radios (e.g. Radio Dreyeckland , FSK , Bermuda radio , etc.).
Between 1998 and 2004, Querfunk awarded the Karlsruhe Radio Play Prize to non-commercial radio play and radio play productions.
