Quintus Cassius Longinus († 164 BC ) was a Roman politician and consul in the 2nd century BC. Chr.

Quintus Cassius Longinus came from the plebeian family of the Cassier , who belonged to the nobility . Its branch with the Cognomen Longinus produced numerous important politicians who rose to consulate from the second century BC to the early imperial era . He himself must have been towards the end of the 3rd century BC. BC, because in Rome you could not hold a consulate until the age of 43. He was the son of a Lucius and the grandson of a Quintus.

Nothing is known about the beginnings of Cassius's career. In 167 BC He reached the praetor and was elected praetor urbanus .
