Qysyl-Aghasch is a place in Kazakhstan in the Almaty region , in the Aqsu district northeast of Taldyqorghan , and has 2146 inhabitants (as of 2009).

The break of the Qysyl-Agash dam

On Thursday, March 11, 2010, broke Qyzylaghash dam of the same dam after prolonged heavy rains, flooded the city and killed many inhabitants. The day after, another dam broke near the town of Schylbulak with 820 inhabitants, but all of them were saved.
