The R + V Company Health Insurance Fund ( R + V BKK ) is a company health insurance company that is open nationwide and is based in Wiesbaden . As part of the statutory health insurance, it is a self-governing body under public law .

It was originally founded on January 1, 1992 as a closed company health insurance fund for the employees of R + V Versicherung AG. It has been open nationwide since January 1st, 2002.

Contribution rates

Since January 1, 2009 the contribution rates have been standardized by the legislator. Until December 31, 2014, the R + V BKK did not levy any income -related additional insurance contribution . The additional contribution has been 1.2 percent since March 2020.

Membership structure

As at the end of 2009, the R + V BKK had exactly 122,181 insured persons, as of November 1, 2013 exactly 154,546 insured persons and at the end of 2018 around 159,000 insured persons.

The R + V BKK is primarily aimed at the employees of cooperative banks and generally at employees of the cooperative financial network. Approx. 40 percent of the insured work in the cooperative financial network Volks- und Raiffeisenbanken.
