Ráðbarðr

Ráðbarðr was a legendary ruler in Garðariki in the late 7th century. He was mentioned in the Icelandic sagas Sögubrot af nokkrum fornkonungum and Hyndlulióð .

Ráðbarðr is said to have ruled in an area in or near Karelia . Auðr fled to him from her father, the Swedish King Ivar Vidfamne , and married him. Ivar followed her and died on the way. Ráðbarðr and Auðr had a son: Randver.
