Eviction test
The evacuation test (Rp) is the test of whether a train has completely left a train route section . The place where this is carried out is called the evacuation test center. The driving service regulation provides for various rules for evacuation checks on routes without a route block, routes with a non-automatic route block and routes with an automatic route block.
Findings
During the evacuation test, the signal box operator must determine the following:
- The train for which the evacuation test is to be carried out has passed the signal train termination point of the main signal or the ETCS stop board of the evacuation test point, this is located
- for routes without a route block or with a non-automatic route block on the train sequence point at the end of the train sequence section
- for routes with an automatic route block at the train registration office behind the train heading section
- The train has at least one sign of the end- of- train signal , which draws the conclusion that there is no other vehicle on the route.
- The main signal or the detector of the virtual block point of the evacuation test center shows stop and the detectors of the signal Zs 1 , Zs 7 or Zs 8 have gone out. Self- setting mode or train steering with a steering plan must not be switched on and routes must not be stored on the signal concerned .
use cases
The evacuation test must be carried out on routes without an automatic route block after each train journey. On routes without a route block, this must be confirmed by reporting back to the dispatcher who allowed the journey into the train heading section. Feedback must also be introduced if, for example, on routes with a non-automatic route block, the block facilities are disrupted or before a train journey with a special order is to be permitted; a technical specialist can also order feedback. It may only be lifted if the reason for its introduction has ceased to exist and the route has been used by one - in the case of a route block with a change of permit, one in both directions - control trains.
On routes with an automatic route block, an additional distinction is made between the individual evacuation test for a single train and the evacuation test for a period of time (Rpz). This is required on all trains for the duration of an event. If the dispatcher of the evacuation test center is not also the dispatcher who allows the train journey in the train sequence section, he must confirm the evacuation test by reporting back. An individual evacuation test is required, for example, before permission for a train journey with a special order or before block facilities are to be brought into their basic position. A temporary evacuation test is required for disrupted block facilities or by order of a technical specialist. It may be lifted if the cause no longer applies, the end of the fault clearance work has been entered and the route has been traveled by at least one inspection train.
In the extensive setting areas of many track diagram signal boxes, there are usually no employees on site who could observe the end-of-train signal. In the operating point book or in a Betra , the use of a tail-end reporting post at the level of the signal train termination point, which reports the train termination to the dispatcher, may be permitted. Feedback posts can also be used on automatic block signals; they carry out a complete evacuation test and confirm this by reporting back to the dispatcher. If there are no employees on site, the dispatcher may request the driver to report that the train is complete. If the end of the train can no longer be determined, the next train must drive on the affected - in the case of self-block also the following - train route section with command on sight , i.e. at a maximum of 40 km / h. The driver must arrange his driving style in such a way that he can stop the train in time before any obstacle. If this train journey has run properly and, if necessary, an evacuation test has been carried out, the train sequence section is again considered free.
