The Río Apaporis is a left tributary of the Rio Japurá in Colombia . Together with its source river Ajaju, it is 805 km long.
It rises in the eastern cordillera of the Andes . Its course always leads in a south-easterly direction. Several Indian tribes live on the Río Apaporis, including: Macuna, Tanimuca, Letuama, Cabiyari, Yuhup and Yauna.
