The Río Moctezuma is a 177 kilometers long river in the Mexican state of Sonora . The river has its source in the Sierra Madre Occidental and first flows through several villages. In San Pedro de la Cueva it flows in the reservoir Plutarco Elías Calles that the Presa Plutarco Elías Calles is jammed.
There is another Río Moctezuma in the Mexican states of Hidalgo and Querétaro .
