The Río Salado , also Río Salado del Norte or Juramento, is a river in the north of Argentina .

The 2,011 km long Río Salado has its source near Salta in the Andes and flows in a southeastern direction until it joins the Paraná at Santa Fe . The river is created by the union of the Río Toro and Río Guachipas and flows through an area that is used for mining and cattle breeding.
