Dingharting

Dingharting was a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Munich that existed until 1978 , the area of ​​which is now completely in the municipality of Straßlach-Dingharting .

The community comprised roughly the south-eastern half of today's municipal area. It consisted of the districts Ebertshausen , Gleißentalweiher , Großdingharting , Holzhausen , Kirchlberg and Kleindingharting .

Dingharting was first mentioned as dingherting (= settlement of Deginhart) in 1169, and it was not until around 1350 that a distinction was made between Groß- and Kleindingharting. Even today they are often referred to simply as dingharts.

On May 1, 1978, the municipalities of Dingharting and Straßlach were merged to form the municipality of Straßlach as part of the municipal area reform, in 1989 this was renamed Straßlach-Dingharting .
