The RömerWelt adventure museum at Caput Limitis (beginning of the Upper German Limes ) is located in the Arienheller district of the Rheinbrohl community . It was opened on August 23, 2008 and is the Limes information center of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate . In addition, the RömerWelt is one of the masterpieces between the Rhine and Moselle .

The RömerWelt adventure museum was built on an area of ​​around 6000 m² . It is located near the Arienheller exit from the B 42 . In the main building, next to the cash desk area with a museum shop, there is a large exhibition room with many exhibits and display boards on the life of the Romans in Germania. In the adjoining open-air area, a herb garden has been created and replicas of a Roman pile driver and a Roman construction crane have been set up. To the left behind the museum building and the stonemasonry and blacksmith workshops, the area is bounded by a 50 m long replica of the Limes. In the rear area is the Contubernium with a games room, an exhibition room for fishing as well as the reconstructed bedroom and armory of a Roman auxiliary unit and a larger room for events. There is an archery range behind the bakery with a Roman stove, mill and oven. A playground is available for children.

During the opening time from March to mid-November, in addition to the Roman Days in mid-May, there are regular events related to the life of the Romans, and from March to October themed Sundays with workshops or action programs.

The owner and operator is the Caput Limitis Foundation in Rheinbrohl, founded on December 22, 2005 .
