The Rösteberg is 94.3 m above sea level. NHN high hill of the Altenberger Ridge in the Westphalian district of Steinfurt .
It is located between Altenberge and Nienberge in the Hohenhorst farming community, in a break in the Altenberger Back landscape protection area . Streets in the east-northeast of the hill are called Rösteberg . The partially forested hill is used for agriculture. It is one of the places where the legendary Grinkenschmied is said to have lived.
