Rudiger Kurock

Rüdiger Kurock (born November 10, 1955 in Schwerin ) is a German writer, income tax advisor , teacher and economist who uses the pseudonym Slov ant Gali for his literary works .

Life

Kurock is the second child of a Silesian resettler family and grew up in Schwerin. From 1962 to 1975 he attended school there until he became a commercial clerk with a high school diploma. From 1972 he was delegated five times to the Central Poetry Seminar of the FDJ . After brief activities in various areas (clerk in wholesale, six months of basic military service, cultural-political-artistic employee at the district cabinet for cultural work in Parchim , materials manager at ORSTA Hydraulik Schwerin), he graduated from the Clara Zetkin University of Education in Leipzig from 1978 to 1982 and graduated as a graduate teacher for Citizenship and German and was then responsible from 1983 to 1990 for the organization of courses for " travel cadres " of the Robotron combine in foreign trade operations. There he completed a postgraduate degree in foreign trade . From 1990 he was the head of the advice center of an income tax aid association .

Kurock is an honorary member of the board of the Brandenburg State Association in the Association of German Writers (part of ver.di ).
