Răzvan Ionuț Florea (born September 29, 1980 in Constanța ) is a Romanian swimmer .

Since 2003 he has been one of the most successful and consistent back swimmers in the world. He was the first Romanian swimmer to win an Olympic medal.

At the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney , he was sixth over 200 m back.

Florea was runner-up in 2004 in Madrid over the 200 meter back and won the bronze medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics over the 200 meter back. He was also second overall in the Mare Nostrum series this year .

At the European Championships in 2006 he won the bronze medal on this route. From 1999 to 2003 he was a sports student.
