The RCI Banque SA ( Renault Credit International) is a financial services provider and a 100 percent subsidiary of the car manufacturer Renault and one of the largest banks in France. It employs 3,200 people in 36 countries. Its registered office is in Paris , France.
Internationally, branches are maintained in the European Union (e.g. Germany, Spain, Italy) and non-European countries (e.g. Argentina, Brazil, South Korea, Russia, Morocco and Turkey). The German branch of the automobile bank was founded in 1947; this makes it the oldest automobile bank in Germany.
The company's goal is to acquire and retain customers for the brands of the Renault-Nissan Alliance by providing financing offers and competitive service. In this way, RCI Banque accompanies the two brands as they grow. The main markets of the alliance are in Europe, Russia and South America. In addition, RCI Banque offers a wide variety of leasing and financing products for the brands Renault (Renault, Renault Samsung Motors), Dacia and Nissan ( Infiniti , Datsun , Nissan) for private and corporate customers. At the same time, it is also the financing partner of the dealer networks, for which it provides financial resources to finance stocks, new vehicles and used vehicles, as well as spare parts and redeployment funds. During the 1970s, the institute introduced the first leasing offers for private customers in Germany.
In 1990 it merged with Diac SA (Diffusion Industrielle et Automobile par le Credit), an automotive financial services provider founded in 1924. The RCI Group has had official bank status since 1991 and is subject to regulation by the supervisory authorities. In 2001, the bank merged with Nissan Bank, which was founded in 1989.
RCI Banque SA Niederlassung Deutschland, based in Neuss, offers financing for new and used cars as a classic form of loan or as final installment financing, various insurance services and additional services for customers, companies and authorized dealers such as B. residual installment insurance, extended warranty, breakdown assistance, online banking for dealers and battery rental for electric vehicles. For corporate customers, full-service leasing and fleet management complete the product range.
Since 2013, RCI Banque has offered overnight and fixed-term deposit accounts in Germany under the “Renault Bank direkt” brand . While the bank in Great Britain has been operating under the Renault Bank since 2015 , the bank in France has been operating under the name Zesto .
In 2014, new financing amounting to 12.6 billion euros was made. In terms of Allianz brands, a market penetration of 35.2% was achieved in the same year. The consolidated annual profit before taxes in 2014 was EUR 674 million.
A subsidiary RCI Mobility was founded in July 2015 . This deals with the development and management of mobility-related services, especially car sharing.
The Infiniti Financial Services division has existed since January 1, 2016.
