In addition, the association has been organizing rugby groups at four secondary schools in Hürth since 1994, to which other schools from neighboring communities in the Rhein-Erft district have joined over the years. The RC Hürth has been supported financially since 1996 by the “Förderkreis Rugby in Hürth”. In the 2000s there was also a syndicate with the rugby department of Brühler TV 1879 .
The clubhouse of RC Hürth, which was expanded in 2005, has served as the state performance base of the North Rhine-Westphalian rugby association since 1993. It is also the venue for the international rugby tournament "Hürth Sevens", where teams from Great Britain , France , the Netherlands and all of Germany compete against each other in Olympic rugby seven .
