history

RMNradio was founded on August 23, 2002 as an internet radio station . On August 9, 2007, the broadcaster was granted a nationwide broadcast license without allocation of transmission capacities by the State Media Authority Saarland (LMS). This license enables RMNRadio to broadcast its program via all available transmission channels such as FM , satellite and cable .

The program is Internet-independent on the frequency 105.5 MHz in the cable network of AWE- Oldenburg ( approx.10,000 households) analogue VHF and in the analogue cable network of Wilhelm.tel in Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein (approx.250,000 households) on frequency 98 , 95 MHz and digitally in the cable network DVB-C of Wilhelm.tel and Willy.tel (approx. 78,000 households) in Hamburg (frequency 666 MHz, channel 45) and Norderstedt and Henstedt-Ulzburg (frequency 842 MHz, channel 67).

program

The station's target group (19 to 59 year olds) is broad. The musical focus is on pop and rock from the 1970s to today, current chart titles and genre music such as alternative, chill out, black music and independent rock. Special emphasis is placed on promoting young German bands and performers. RMNradio is the first German broadcaster to commit to providing 30% of its music program with music produced in Germany.

In addition to the main channel, radio Schlagerparadies , Megahitradio, RMNrelax, RMNinstrumental, RMNPowerstream, Kuschel.FM, Partyradio24, RockHausRadio and PopStop also exist.
